The Career
Institute, TREC School #1293
authorized
by the Tennessee Real Estate Commission as a provider of
PRE-LICENSING and CONTINUING EDUCATION for the real estate
profession in Tennessee. The Career Institute has been
recognized by real estate professionals as an excellent
and convenient provider of of TREC continuing education,
and now we have taken the lead in providing convenient
pre-licensing courses for both affiliate broker and
broker.
The
objective of the
Career
Institute is to provide an affordable solution
to certification needs. Each passing day brings more
recognition of the importance of education in the real
estate industry.
We
at the Career Institute believe brokers and their
affiliates should not pay excessively for pre-licensing
requirements, continuing education and technical training.
Career
Institute
courses are prepared
by leaders in their respective fields,
and presented by lead instructor Jim Gibbs who is a
practicing Tennessee principal broker, Realtor and
certified paralegal with 35 years of teaching experience
that includes college level instruction.
The
Career Institute
was the first
and for awhile, the only school authorized to provide pre-licensing real estate education
by correspondence
in the State of Tennessee. The Career Institute is also an
authorized provider of a full range of Tennessee Real Estate
Commission required
continuing education. Several neighboring states including
Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama and Arkansas will offer
credit for TREC approved courses if you are licensed in
both their state and Tennessee. You can ask Kentucky what
their problem is but they will no longer give you credit
for our courses. Please ask your real estate commission in other states
regarding out of state real
estate continuing education approval.
The Career Institute also offers assistance and coaching for our students. We offer transcript
verification to employers, upon their request verifying
that our students have, in fact, completed the coursework
and earned certification. Additionally, students and
alumni receive access to valuable online student
resources.
Inquiries
and program suggestions are welcome, and may be
